About the Author

Gwenaël Petiot was raised in Aix-en-Provence, France. In 2007, he traveled to South America, where he was introduced to macramé, the craft that would become his passion. I just learned how to do micromacreme and I needed a book to act as a companion. Itâ€™s okay. I found the photos rather dark and it has a big error on of the pages. I reckon it was supposed to be a close up of a knot but came out a big blur. Iâ€™m also upset that the only â€œchainâ€ is a basic 3 strand braid.Itâ€™s alright. Aesthetically itâ€™s very appealing....thatâ€™s the graphic designer in me.

Love this book. The projects are distinctive and well documented. I usually make one or two projects from most of the references I purchase. However, I'm well on the way to making all the projects contained in the book--and learning new techniques along the way.

The book has detailed instructions with color pictures. Easy to follow to make various necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Many of the techniques covered can be used to design your own creations. I will be using this manual on knotted jewelry for reference for years to come.

Very nicely done. I really like this book and have already made some items. The full color pics are very nicely done and very precise. I had no problem catching up with the knots. I used to macrame a long time ago, back in the 70's, I made large macrame items planters, plant hangers, wall hangings and so on so delving into jewelry is a challenge especially at a time when my eye site is not so good as it used to be. Very easy to follow instructions.

I'm going to have to study this awhile. It seems complicated when you read the instructions, but I'm sure that if you had the actual cords in your hands you just might be able to make something. It's very comprehensive and well written.

Feels like older, less modern projects, but is what is coming back in style. Still a good find. Excited to try out patterns.

Great questions and easy to understand. I used this book to complement the Becker BEC book. The questions were formatted in a similar manner. I highly recommend buying this as additional source material. I plan on purchasing the other 3 books as well.

I used this BEC course. The questions are easier than real exam questions. So expect more difficult questions in the exam. However this is a very good course to review. It covers all the areas and their answers help to revise the theory very efficiently. I highly recommend this for your last week's revision.

Exactly what I expected. Great review of learned college material.

I really liked this product. I was recommended this book and could not be happier. I used becker but I was in need of different questions to supplement my studies. These questions were different and gave you a different style of thinking of the question.

Helps prepare you quite a bit for just about any multiple choice question on the BEC section of the exam.

For 500+ MCQ you can't beat the price.

It was well if you also uses Wiley.
