Some may scoff at her subpartical ideas and claims of connection through Chakrah energy. However, I liked her meditations and was familiar with the concepts she introduced. Therefore, I didn't learn new information but her perspective is interesting.

A "down to earth" guide from what seems to be a down to earth woman without all the new age "buzz words". Seems I keep playing over and over catching new information on each listen. Her voice is extremely comforting. Great audiobook for us seekers.

But honestly, you should read this even if neither of those is true, because she fleshes out certain parts of her first book (like profile writing). As with her first book, this is based on science, so that puts it heads and shoulders above all other dating and relationship books (except for John Gottman's, which are based on his research). Most books are opinion and cannot be trusted. Duana is doing God's work, helping both men and women get the love they deserve.I have re-read her first book probably 5-6 times, and I have re-read parts of this book as soon I finished it. I am also a client of Duana's, and her coaching is excellent.Just because you don't like what she writes, doesn't make it not true. And she will admit in her books that she doesn't like it, either. It's always better to know the truth than rely on wishful thinking.

I've implemented the "no texting" rule and offering a phone conversation and then seeing who takes me up on it. What I've learned from all of Dr. Welch's books is to set clear boundaries and then stick to them. I've gotten so much valuable information from her work, and her responses to my emails have helped me immensely.

I’m married and have no kids, but I’ve been a fan of Dr. Duana’s since her first book, Love, Factually, one of the wisest and most practical books about dating and relationships I’ve ever read—so I had to pick up her new one. Despite that I’m not in the situation the book’s target readers are, there’s so much great info here! And it’s a delightful read. Just as with her first book, Dr. Duana offers up so much science-supported information about relationships with her trademark wit, warmth, and humor. One of the lovely side effects of reading about seeking, finding, and loving the right mate for you was that I got to appreciate all over again how well her science-based techniques are reflected in my marriage, and it gave me a fresh appreciation for my husband and our relationship—we found each other using the techniques Dr. Duana describes.I’ve passed Love, Factually on to countless single friends looking to find the love of their lives who are tired of dead-end relationships and fad opinion books and want a science-supported, practical approach to finding someone with whom they can have a happy, healthy, joyful, love-filled partnership. Now I have a wonderful new one to pass along to my single friends with kids. Hope there are tons more of these books coming from Dr. Duana! There’s really nothing out there like them. (Oh—and make sure you get this one; there’s a copycat book out there with the same title trying to trade on Dr. Duana’s following and success.)
