I wanted to share my story with you because this book is magic and it works!!! After 2 months, I became pregnant naturally.I am 42 years old, never been pregnant, and was diagnosed with premature ovarian reserve at age 36. This September I got my hormones tested, and everything was wrong. My AMH levels were in the pre-menopausal level and my FSH was 15.5. I was devastated. I ordered this book based on the reviews I read, started acupuncture on a weekly basis, and took herb supplements along with vitamins. I figured I would try to regulate my hormones with supplements/naturally before I went to the fertility doctor and started the injections. I made an appointment for December.I started to read Fertility Wisdom, and loved it because the book gave me hope. She talks about patients who had high FSH and other issues who succeed in having natural pregnancies. Moreover, her philosophy is essentially that any woman who still gets her period has the capacity to become pregnant naturally if she harmonizes and balances her whole body.For one month, I followed Fertility's Wisdom's diet and nutritional tips (along with acupuncture and herbs), and a month later (December) I was pregnant! Please give this book a shot and be open to her ideas, as strange as they may appear because she is definitely on to something!! I am still following her diet, as she recommends to do throughout the first trimester. Good luck and message me if you want further info!

I give this book 4 stars because it is a total life style change. I started this book but have to say that I did not finish it; I got pregnant while reading the book (yay!), but cannot attribute that to the book. The book is very interesting in its approach and the testimonials are inspirational to anyone that has struggled with infertility for any period of time. This approach, however, is a complete lifestyle change (and she acknowledges this in the book). Not only is it a lifestyle change but it is a polar opposite approach from anything you hear from western medicine. If you are struggling and frustrated, I highly recommend the book; however, it is not an "easy" way to get pregnant and I found it difficult to comprehend how I would implement all of her ideas (as she suggests you cannot do the program half-way because half-pregnant is also not possible). If you are motivated and willing to make some real changes, this is the book for you (and probably a 5 star)!

This book is a complete overview of Dr. Angela Wu's advice for couples on acupuncture, nutrition, meditation, self massage, lifestyle etc. Some of her recommendations will seem odd to non-Eastern Medicine followers. Regardless, I believe it is a fascinating approach to fertility. You must have an open mind & heart to get through this read, and even more discipline to follow her suggestions. It is not the easiest read/plan for someone looking for a magic fertility solution. But for those willing to try anything, Dr. Wu boasts a tremendous pregnancy success rate.

This is a helpful book for anyone with fertility issues. It has basic, common sense advice that makes you feel like you're gaining answers for bettering your body/mind/lifestyle in natural ways. There's no single answer for solving infertility, that is true, but this book could be an added tool for anyone searching for a pathway to getting pregnant.

Highly recommended, I followed all Dr. Angela suggestions , a little difficult from our western perspective, but after 5 months I'm blessed with our baby!!

This book on its own won't get anyone pregnant. It's an interesting overview of one acupuncturist's advice. And it will give you a lot to work on. This is good because often women facing fertility issues feel helpless and want something to do that feels like they are able to take more control over this process.However, going to a regular acupuncturist will be more fruitful than reading the book...unless you feel like following her rather strict rules regarding food choices. No more ice cream, ever.When she got to the feng shui part of the book, she kind of lost me. I'm absolutely sure that the universe does not care enough about what's under my bed for that to impede conception.

Much more recommend The Infertility Cure by Randine Lewis. As an acupuncturist myself who works with infertility with patients, I find the other one much more useful.

I lost my first baby 9 days ago in June 22. I was 19 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I went into labor on the 20th and had him at 903 on Friday morning. He died 3 hours later. It took me 8 years to conceive him and here I am mourning my first loss ever at 27 years old. I'm trying to find every way possible to heal because I feel so incredibly broken. I joined a few support groups on Facebook and this book was recommended by one. I also was recommended " loved baby 31 devotions". I'm hoping these books will help in my healing. I hate that any of us need this book but I'm grateful for books like these.

Excellent read for providing hope and encouragement during difficult circumstances! I ordered and read this after receiving a similar diagnosis with one of our children. It was great to walk through such similar circumstances with the author's Christian perspective. The scriptures at the end of each chapter on grief, suffering, and hope were so very helpful; I kept a list to refer back to frequently, and still have that list that I pass on to others. This is a great read for anyone suffering through infertility, miscarriage, or other struggles along the lines of fertility/child baring.

Angie’s raw, open honesty seeps through the edges of this book. I felt I was entering a sacred place every time I opened its pages. I could hardly put this book down. It was an honor to share a piece of her journey and gain insight into this sacred grief journey. I sobbed through many pages. I learned new things about God that hadn’t been revealed in this way before. The gospel message is clear. Thank you, Angie, for sharing Audrey’s life.

I found Angie's website not long after I lost a much desired little boy in the second trimester of pregnancy. Weeks prior to hearing the news that there was no longer a heartbeat, we had had an ultrasound scan go from excited and chatty to ominously quiet and soberly being informed we would need the radiologist to come in to assess the situation. We found out I had low amniotic fluid and unless the situation reversed our child would not be able to develop lungs properly and would not survive. We also were advised to terminate, but opted to let God decide what would unfold for our baby. We did not know how it would all turn out, but through our tears, it was also a time of sweet closeness with God.When I found Angie's website and saw her family's profoundly poignant journey with Baby Audrey, I was touched. I related to many aspects, and was so often moved and inspired by her faith and wisdom and her eloquent writings. I knew she was planning to write a book about Audrey Caroline and then we moved abroad and I lost track of her blog and forgot about the book.A few weeks ago, I found myself remembering Angie's book and looked it up on Amazon. I immediately placed my order and eagerly awaited its arrival. When I opened my copy of the book, I was riveted and could not put it down. Her insights and wisdom and verse selections and honesty and the tender telling of her story were all profoundly moving to me!I would imagine that this book could touch anyone dealing with loss or difficult circumstances. I know for me it was so powerful because of our loss of that little boy we never held. I think her truths and insights extend to all difficult situations and trusting God even when life hurts.Along with her story, she has at the end of her book some very special and helpful chapters. There is one about helping children through loss of a sibling, one written by her husband which gives some of his perspective, and a very helpful and tender chapter about loving a friend or family member through a loss like this one.If you have lost a little one, at any stage, I think this is a remarkably healing book. I went through a lot of kleenex and my body shook with sobs at times. I also went through a lot of highlighter ink as I noted so many powerful thoughts and encouragements and truths.Thank you Angie Smith for sharing your heart and your experience so openly and so tenderly and so lovingly and so prayerfully. It was a blessing and a privilege to read your book.I see that she has another book and very much look forward to reading it as well.

I was never able to have children of my own. When I married I "gave birth" to a relationship with my husband's daughter but, by then, she was a young adult graduating into a world of her own. I am grateful to be part of the life of this precious and amazing woman, but the sting of barrenness is never too far away. Why, then, would this book be one I choose to rate so highly? Because the "what-ifs" of a child's missed life, as expressed by Mrs. Smith, are similar to those questions I've spent decades asking myself. While I will never relate to any physical part of what this author has endured, I understand, even if only slightly, what it's like to wonder what my son or daughter would be like had things been different. Though she may not agree, Angie Smith's faith is heroic, and I appreciate so much her willingness to be so vulnerable, even in the midst of her pain. I thank her for sharing her story.

I bought this book after experiencing a miscarriage in December and wow. It is a raw and real look at losing a child. Angie Smith has a way of writing so you feel as though you are having a conversation with her. I had also read Seamless by her and I love her style. It is a really honest book on grief and loss and has a section in the back with resources for those experiencing a loss or who know they may experience a child loss after birth. I have recommended it several times already and will continue to do so.

My niece is expecting a baby that, without a miracle from God, won't live after birth. Our family all read this amazing, heartbreaking book to help us minister to her and her family. What a testimony to the Grace of God and how He carries us through our most difficult trials.

Heartbreaking, but also therapeutic. I read this while waiting a natural miscarriage, and ended up needing a D&C. It hit close to home. This book helps you step back and think about life on a much larger scale while making your world seem small...in a good way. Angie writes in such a way that you feel like you are on the journey with her, rooting for her and her family the whole time. I caught myself praying for her in the middle of this book which I have never done before.

I am a huge fan of the Star Wars RPG and I collect all the associated books - from the core books to the supplements. While many are of course optional, this is one of the ones I think every Star Wars RPG'er would really enjoy having in their collection of reference books. It's amazingly illustrated, with great maps, and it sets the stage for any number of adventures/scenarios you might want to plan based on Geonosis and the Outer Rim (my personal fav). Definitely recommended.

After a wait of several months, gamers finally have a new SWRPG sourcebook in the form of Geonosis and the Outer Rim Worlds. If you've read Coruscant and the Core Worlds then you know the pattern that this sourcebook follows as well. While there are some gaps, players and GM's will probably be slightly more interested in this sourcebook than its older sibling, because as we all know, most of the actual action in the Star Wars universe takes place in the Outer Rim!Let's cover the aesthetics first. As usual, the SWRPG team has given us another attractive book. The image of a Republic gunship blasting its way through the sky is pretty darn cool. Between the covers this book is full-color throughout with a large amount of quality original artwork. There are a handful of photos this time as well. In short, it just feels like a Star Wars sourcebook.On to the content. The book's main focus is on 29 Outer Rim worlds. Each planet receives an overview which includes vital statistics, a basic description, a short history, a description of its people (if any), and a selection of important locations. Each planet also has a GM-only section that includes a few adventure ideas, new NPCs, and any new races, creatures, or equipment. Note that there are no new feats or prestige classes at all. Minor worlds like Roon and Kintan receive an average of 5 pages of attention, while major worlds like Geonosis and Kamino receive 8-11 pages each. Again, keep in mind that each entry is a generous but broad overview, not an exhaustive description.Most worlds, like Bespin, Dathomir, and Ossus have appeared in the movies or novels at some point. Some worlds seem to be brand new. However, three notable worlds are missing entirely: Hoth, Naboo, and Tatooine. Sure, Hoth doesn't have a lot going on, but a page or two would have been nice for the sake of completeness. The authors also explain that Naboo and Tatooine were left out because they already have their own sourcebooks. And they do- but they were (in my opinion) mediocre sourcebooks that are now years out of print. I understand the logic, but it's not an omission I care for. On the other hand, the authors state in the foreward that they may produce a second volume on the Outer Rim if there is sufficient interest. I hope they do.I also found it interesting that the table of contents lists the NPC's, creatures, equipment, and other extras by page number, and not in alphabetical order. That's not a choice that I would have gone with, but everything is still listed by category as well, so locating an entry is still easy enough.As a player, the main thing I like about this sourcebook is how sharply the worlds contrast with each other. That makes for excellent character background material. As a GM, I really liked the adventure hooks. The authors have taken the hooks a step further by linking some of the worlds together for two-part adventure ideas. That was a nice touch.There are also 86 new NPCs (each with a personality and background, and most linked to a specific planet), 15 new species, 10 new pieces of equipment, 10 new vehicles, 1 new starship, 28 new creatures, and 1 new droid. The vast array of new NPCs and creatures in particular seem to provide a wealth of options for roleplaying, combat, or just as a spur for new ideas.And oh yes... there are many maps as well. Compared to previous books, map quality has really improved. The maps are bigger than they have been, and finally, every single one actually has a key! In fact, the map of the Great Temple on Yavin IV takes up a whole page and is perfect for anyone running a Rebellion or New Jedi Order campaign.Overall, despite a few flaws and ommissions, Geonosis and the Outer Rim Worlds is a good, solid reference. Players will like it for its wide array of background material, and GMs will also appreciate the ready-made worlds, adventure hooks, NPCs, and creatures. In short, this is fertile soil for any campaign that ventures into the Outer Rim.

This book is a must read for partners with different sex drives. It's amazing how many parts of this book pertain exactly to our situation. However in order for this book to help your relationship, both partners would have to read it because it's not going to work without the effort of both. It gave me a new perception and understanding of my husband and has helped us communicate more on this topic. I'm not usually big on self help books but this is an exception and I'd highly recommend it to couples.

I decided to read this book due to the lack of affection and sex in my marriage. I will say for myself it has opened my eyes to a lot of different issues that others have gone through. Me being a woman the tables are turned. He is the one with the lack of Desire. Good read..great content and did provide tips. I will be purchasing The Sex-Starved Wife.

This book is a great book I was feeling hopeless. I am glad I am not the only person that feels like I am starving my husband needs. Fast shipping

Some books are insightful and helpful, some books not so much, this book may actually be toxic to your marriage.It's almost a joke...the author presents "cases" of couples with a specific problem and then ENDS the chapter. No advice, no solutions or results are explained or demonstrated. She fills her chapters with statistics and observations, explanations of biology (how are bodies work). Interesting? Did you know men's bodies are different than women's? What a mindblowing fact! These trivial pointless obvious "facts" will not provide an answer to the problem of mismatched or low libido. The author has one BIG answer...Just do it! She spends the better part of 224 pages defending this statement. I used the word "toxic" because this Nike approach can have a harmful effect on relationships. This "Tinder" one size fits all answer is totally inadequate for both men and women. We want to get to the point of wanting sex! We want connection, desire and iintimacy, not hookups. Don't Waste your money or time!

Excellent description of the problem, of causes, views from "both sides," and actions by both partners that can move toward a more satisfying and stronger relationship.

I first heard her TED talk and was hooked. She simply gets it and communicates common sense wisdom with love and care -- to both spouses. Disarming and effective.

This book is great.I bought this book to help deal with my inhibition, and this was not the book for that, but I will say that this book is fantastic.It is addressed to couples whose frustration with their sex lives is extreme, and negatively affecting their marriage. The first part of the book addresses the low-sex partner, talks about how the high-sex partner feels, gives many possible reasons for low-sex drive, and then many varied solutions. The next part talks to the high-sex partner, giving him insight into the low-sex spouse, then another extensive list of possible solutions. The last part talks about communication and general marriage advice.The book is very practical, very thorough, and strikes a good balance between being sympathetic and proactive. The author is very hands-on and solutions oriented. This is not a psychoanalytic book. It discusses emotions and feelings enough to be helpful, and is jam-packed with practical solutions.Ulimately, the moral of this book is that if you are willing to put in the work and be emotionally mature, you can help your relationship.I highly recommend this book for anyone whose sex life causes them severe pain.
